An unusual French basket antique chandelier from the south of France. With two layers of icicle and tear drop crystals issuing from the central gilt stem., the bottom 'bag' consists of a large octagonal button, a good quality coffin drop and graduated button crystals hanging fronm an ornate filigree central band and gathering into a plain gilt bottom boss which is completed with a faceted bomb drop. c1920's
